Shawn Tolleson – Director/Screenplay/Producer

Shawn TollesonShawn Tolleson is the award-winning writer and director of Saturn Returns. She recently sold a one-hour TV drama to CBC and is currently writing the pilot in conjunction with writing and producing partner Gregory Lemkin.  She directed her second feature, Deadly Sorority, for Lifetime where it premiered in May.  To date, Saturn Returns has played in 13 film festival and won 5 awards including Best Feature at Beaufort International Film Festival, the Special Jury Prize at Cinema on the Bayou, Best Actress for Erin Chambers at Sutter Creek Int. Film Festival, and Best Screenplay and the Mountain Film Festival.  She’s directed extensively for the theatre including the Sam Shepard world premiere play It Wasn’t Proust for the MET Theatre in Los Angeles. She wrote and directed 13 episodes for the webseries starring John Corbett, produced by Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich. She produced and production managed over 100 commercials, music videos and high fashion stills shoots working with The Rolling Stones, Prince, Steven Meisel, Gwen Stefani and more. She started her career as an actor, has performed in nearly 100 plays over her career and holds her B.F.A from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Drama in Acting and Directing.


Gregory Lemkin – Producer/Story

Gregory LemkinGregory Lemkin produced the dramatic feature Saturn Returns. He has produced and directed over 200 TV spots for the U.S. market and worked extensively as a VFX Supervisor for U.S. television. Credits include Fear the Walking Dead, Zoo, The 100, Modern Family, Under the Dome, Hell on Wheels, and Glee. He was co-writer and director of the horror thriller Shapeshifter which premiered on the SyFy Network in 2006.


Derrick Hinman – Production Designer

Derrick HinmanDerrick Hinman is a Production Designer currently working in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in the vast desolation of the Mojave Desert, later educated at UCLA, with a degree in Fine Art, he has a natural instinct for Painting, Photography and Design. Moving to LA helped expand Derrick’s scope and his work and its audience grew. His credits include The Devil’s Carnival, Other People’s Children, The Curse of Downer’s Grove, La Linea, The Family Stone and Sideways.


Cassandra Parigian – Costume Designer

Cassandra ParigianCassandra Parigian is a costume designer working in Los Angeles. Her credits include Pretty Little Liars, Some Kind of Beautiful, Scandal and Revenge.


Leanna Primiani – Composer

Leanna PrimianiLeanna Primiani is a classically trained composer living in Santa Monica. She holds a Doctorate in music composition from USC. She has conducted and had her work performed by major orchestras and ensembles throughout the US and Europe, including her professional debut conducting the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center. Her commercial credits include several independent features and TV projects, including Mark Wolper’s The Ghost Speaks on Bio/A&E, the award winning short Vera Vaughn, and the soon-to-be released independent feature Saturn Returns.

Michael Donovan – Casting Director

Andrea von Foerster – Music Supervisor
